We at Digital Web4U have been building web experiences for over 19 years. In that time we have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge. We crafted this FAQ page to answer many of the frequently asked questions we were asked along the way

Payment Terms

We are here to help you 7 days a week and respond within 24 hours. Plus, you can find most answers to your questions right on this page.

There’s not one single answer to this question because the scope of each website varies based upon each project, company size and industry. To that end, we have designed our pricing to be flexible to accommodate all budgets, and do not oversell beyond your requirements.

To give you an idea of the costs, we ask a series of questions to assess your needs. We find the most transparent and straight forward to quote is based on the number of pages on each website. We provide a range of packages based on the number of pages required for each client’s website. We also offer related marketing services such as SEO, email and content marketing.

To start a web design project we require a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due once your website goes live.

 

We offer a variety of payment options, varying from a one-time, up-front payment, a 50% deposit, or monthly payments. Please note, that monthly payments require a signed contract.

Our goal is to help you budget for the expense in whatever way possible. We accept bank transfers, PayPal, and all major credit cards.

 

We provide project-based services, as well as monthly subscriptions
Our services are monthly pay as you go. If notice is given before each month’s renewal, you have the option to discontinue the monthly subscription. Monthly subscriptions are paid in advance of each month.

We supply budget packages which will help get you online with a nice-looking and modern website fast

 

The cost of a website can vary depending on various factors, just like the cost of a house may vary. Though our website projects generally start from £125 for basic business sites and range upward depending on your unique needs.

Website Design

This is a question we get asked all the time and unfortunately the answer is: it varies. More complex sites can take months of design and development; others can take a few weeks.

On average, we aim to have your new website live in 5-10 days turnaround. The functionality and number of unique website pages play a role – more complex sites will take more time to develop.

The pace of each web design project varies by client. Project variables include how soon the content is ready, your availability with feedback all this affects the speed of completion

Every business has unique requirements and every customer has different objectives. We provide packages for budgetary prices. Through meetings, planning and discussion we’ll be able to understand your requirements and then be able to estimate a project.

Yes 100% entirely owned by you. We can host your website, or use you can have your own account with a web host we recommend, or you can use your own website. If for any reason you decide you want to take your site to another hosting service and get another company to service the site, we will happily assist you in making the transition as effortlessly and efficiently as possible. The website is yours after all, and we want you to take it wherever you go.

You will own the website. We can host this for you, and provide you with user access to WordPress. If you so wish, you can have the website transferred to our web host- or you can choose to migrate

 

We are 100% WordPress with third party page editors. WordPress is used by over 30% of the websites on the internet as a content management system (CMS). WordPress is the market leader, due to it’s flexibility along with being SEO friendly.

 but its own page editor is a bit limited – at least when comparing to user friendly website builders like Wix, 4 Square etc. To that end, we use third-party page Editors for WordPress to combine the power of WordPress with an improved user experience like these website builder systems.

For e-commerce sites, we use Woo-commerce with WordPress.

 

 

Not at all! We work with clients all over the world and we are used to working remotely. We use a range of internet tools that facilitate remote working including video conference calls, screen sharing and more.

 

Yes! You can access and edit your website content using WordPress page editor, as well as third party page builders. We’ll provide you with a set of comprehensive video tutorials to help you learn your way around, as well provide you with a training session to help get you on your way. We can provide you admin access or just a content editor role within WordPress.

 

We can! We provide on-going support for many of our clients.

Yes, we ensure your website looks great on a variety of devices

 

It depends! Some of our clients want us to design from start to finish, even creating the website content such as copy and images. Other clients prefer more input on the finished design, and in this case your input and feedback is crucial to this process. We’ll start with a lot of questions about your design goals, specific needs, your preferences, your buyer persona and more. Then we work with you to develop just the right look and functionality.

Potentially for a short time. However, in the longer term we only support websites that we have fully built. We have this policy so that we can 100% stand behind everything that we craft. It’s best to have a chat with us to let us know what you’re currently working with and what your requirements are for this update

 

Yes. We will help you source free stock photos from a range of websites sites. For a fee, we also have photographers and videographers produce custom photography and videos for your website.

Can I meet you. At present we only work remotely over the internet. We are an internet company, and this is what we can have done since the beginning!

Hosting

Our standard webhosting fee is £20 per month, which includes doing WordPress and plugin updates patching with security fixes etc. Our hosting packages are un-metered meaning that you will never be charged extra for going over a “limit.” For very large websites with terabytes of data and so much traffic that it may need to live on it’s own server. We can help facilitate this if needed, but is extremely rare.

 

Yes, we provide premium WordPress hosting with Site Ground or WP Engine. You can host the website yourself, however we strongly recommend using one of these hosting providers, or a few others of similar quality.

All our websites come with optional hosting packages. Please get in touch for a free quote.

 

 

 

A: All websites that Eternity creates must live on our servers. However, if at any time you wish to move to a new web firm or web host, we will package up your site at no cost to send to the new firm. Though at that time, we will no longer be able to support your site. The company we use for web hosting . We are housed in their Chicago Data Center.

On top of that Eternity also has a 3rd party 24/7/365 security and monitoring team, so even when we are all sleeping, your server is being carefully watched over.

Quality web hosting is super important! Saving a few extra bucks every month on lower quality hosting will hurt your website performance in both user experience, and in Google.

 

Typically, we will activate your web hosting account in 24 hours of starting the migration or new website setup. The factors that usually decide this can be whether an SSL Certificate needs to be applied to the domain, and if you use Cloudflare etc.

 

Yes, our hosting packages have the option to include email hosting in 2 ways. We provide email with your web hosting package that includes email addresses on your very own domain. Alternatively, we can also set up Gmail with your company website domain name (using G-suite).

If you haven’t already arranged your domain and email we can also spply these, or you can use your own.

To purchase new domains, or transfer existing ones – we use either Google Domains, Cloudflare or SiteGround.

We can provide you with a SSL and a CDN through our standard web hosting packages.

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on our web hosting accounts for any reason. 

 

We offer a dual backup strategy to cover backups for daily, weekly and monthly routines. In the first instance, the webhost will do the backup. Thereafter we also do backups to another locations such as Google drive that are independent of the web host.

Yes we can provide you with the backup website and at no cost! We can also copy, clone and stage the website for testing purposes

 

We only use premium high-end webhosts, which have on average over 99.9% uptime on our server. We take downtime seriously and do our utmost to ensure this as rare as hens’ eggs! For example, for required server maintenance and upgrades, these are always scheduled during off-peak and off-hour times by our management team at the datacentre. These are usually never a factor for uptime anyway, but we like to be sure!

SEO QUESTIONS

Yes we provide SEO services, for an additional fee.

No we only provide SEO services for websites that we build. We want to be sure that technical build of the website ticks all the SEO boxes. Additionally, we design websites for users.

Google Stuff

Google Sitekit is a WordPress plugin that connects with Google API’s (Application Program Interfaces). We use Google Site kit to integrate the main Google services with your website. These include Google Search Console, Google Maps and Google Analytics

Google Search Console allows your website to communicate with Google, and Google with you. Google Search Console provides your SEO rankings, along with optimistion tips and recommendations specific to your website.

Google Maps for companies is managed under a Google program called Google My Business. Having a map on your website, and including your company on local maps in Google is a great way to be found by prospective customers more often. 

Google Analytics lets you understand how people use your website. You can measure the performance of all of your marketing campaigns, helping ongoing planning and results.

You can have a company account with YouTube. Video continues to grow, making this channel another opportunity to reach prospective customers.

Google Tag Manager is a system for installing marketing and tracking scripts for Google products, as well as third party products like Facebook Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads and more.

Google Optimise is another one of Google’s product that we use. This setup and optimisation services is provided as part of our website maintenance packages.

Google Data Studio is a reporting tool that can give you instant reports of all Google Products.

Email Marketing

We use either MailChimp or HubSpot CRM Email. Both have free starter editions with optional paid features as you increase website users over 2000, and 1000 respectively.

We help nurture your email contacts into leads through effective email marketing. Through targeted campaigns we drive prospects through the sale funnel into converting customers. 

We do not believe in purchasing lists as the quality is often low, and it may not even be GDPR compliant.  We believe in building an email list from your website marketing.

Graphic Design

Advanced graphic design can be provided at an additional fee upon our standard services. For example, Image design or edited by a graphic designer. We do design icons and use stock images as part of our design process.

Usually that is you. You are the expert on your business, so it’s usually best if it comes from you. If you need help, we have a copywriter on our team who can help clean up or write original content for you at an additional cost.
